Hello from us
We're an independent womenswear brand, based in Brighton, UK. It's our mission to design clothing our customers love to wear, produced in an ethical and sustainable way, enabling us to support social and environmental causes close to our hearts.
The journey began in 2002 with Pawel opening a pop-up clothing store in Barcelona. Fresh out of Brighton University, Pawel's little sister Aleks was recruited over to Spain to co-manage the store. Inspired by their love of travel, Pawel and Aleks designed and produced clothing for the store on the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia. These hand-finished styles were a big hit with customers, and so, in 2006 Sugarhill Boutique was created, with Brighton, UK as it's new design base.
Prints designed by us
Our designer Olivia draws up our exclusive prints from scratch in our seaside studio so you won't find them on garments made by anyone else.
10% to charity
We give 10% of our profits to charities, non-profit organisations & environmental causes. You can find out more about our charity partnerships and #WearAndCare initiative here.
Paper Packaging
We send our postal orders in recycled, recyclable paper packaging and are committed to changing out our plastic packaging for a compostable alternative by Summer 2021.
Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is grown without the use of fertilizers, pesticides or any other toxic chemicals. The eco-conscious methods used in organic farming, support a sustainable environment, helping to maintain soil fertility resulting in 100% natural cotton, with no hidden nasties.
We love pockets
We make clothes we like to wear and we love clothes with pockets. Where possible, you'll find pockets on most of our styles, from dresses to jumpsuits.
Mama Cool
We don't make maternity wear (yet!) but we do make a lot of breast-feeding friendly styles, checkout the BF Friendly Collection or just search BF Friendly
